Allium Purple Rain typically produces large, spherical flower heads composed of numerous tiny, star-shaped flowers. These flower heads can range in size from several inches to over a foot in diameter. Purple Rain is prized for its vibrant colour and long-lasting blooms. It is often used in garden beds, borders, and containers to add height, texture, and interest to the landscape.

- Plant in a sunny spot at least four times the depth of the bulb. Add bonemeal into the planting hole before planting. In heavy clay soils, add horticultural grit to the bottom of the hole to help with drainage. Water well. In the growing season, water plants in containers during dry spells. Top dress with a general purpose plant food as the last flowers fade. Allow foliage to die down naturally. Flowering results improve each year
