This begonia is a bit of a trend-setter, overtaking some of the other traditional houseplant begonias in popularity, and with its large, spotted leaves, it’s easy to see why! Given the right conditions, you will be rewarded with pale pink or white flowers in summer
- Prefers a spot in bright, indirect light and a minimum room temperature of 15°C
- Feed every other watering with a balanced fertiliser in spring and summer
- Instructions for care – If my stems get too leggy, pinch out the growing tips in summer and I will become more bushy in shape.
- Water when compost surface starts to dry out. Ensure all excess water is allowed to drain away so that the compost does not become soggy. Reduce watering in winter
- Instructions for planting – Select a grow pot one size larger than current and use a general purpose peat free houseplant compost. Adding some perlite to the compost mix will help aid drainage.
