Product information
Pontederia cordata ‘Alba’, commonly known as white pickerelweed, is an upright, clump-forming perennial with large, lance-shaped green leaves forming architectural foliage. In summer it produces spikes of tubular, pure white flowers with yellow throats, creating a striking display along pond margins and in shallow water. This cultivar is valuable for pollinators, especially bees and butterflies, and supports wetland biodiversity. Its upright, clump-forming habit and tolerance of consistently moist or shallowly submerged soil make it ideal for pond edges, bog gardens, and naturalistic water features.
