Description
The Harmer SML lightweight cast iron pipework system is dry-jointed, Agrément certified, and has a proven track record for above-ground drainage. With its comprehensive range of fittings and accessories, SML is the ideal soil and waste system which can also be used for rainwater installations.
Features:
- 45 degree bends, or 135 degree bends as they are sometimes called, are used to create a change of direction in a waste or ventilation pipe system.
- The SML lightweight cast iron pipework system is assembled by means of twin screw couplings.
- It has a secure socketless fixing between pipe and fitting.
- Advances in cast iron technology have ensured that today’s products are fully attuned to modern construction needs.
- No special installation equipment required.
- Epoxy coatings ensure pipes and fittings need minimal maintenance over lifetime of installation – Pipes exterior have a primer coat, minimum thickness 40 µm, and interior have an epoxy coating with a minimum thickness of 120 µm. Fittings are coated externally and internally with an epoxy coating, minimum thickness 60 µm.
