Geotec 220PY Lead Underlay
The Calder Geotec 220PY Lead Underlay – 25m x 1m enables the lead sheet to be isolated from its substrate. This product is not only extremely lightweight (just 220g/m2) and durable but is also made to high quality, making for an excellent lead underlay.
This product is needled punched, non-woven polyester textile and all materials used within this underlay conform to the Lead Sheet Association’s requirements. The Calder Geotec 220PY Lead Underlay – 25m x 1m is especially built to protect the lead sheet from uneven surfaces as well as ridges and fractures. The underlay is an essential purchase when laying lead sheets.
Temperature changes (which reduce drag) allow the underlay to contract and expand, these thermal movements prevent wear and tear and assist against roof condensation and corrosive substances. Please note that the Calder Geotec 220PY Lead Underlay – 25m x 1m is exclusively for use on existing traditional timber board surfaces where there is appropriate ventilation.
