Description

Backwater Valves are installed in-line with the drainage system, allowing sewer or surface water materials to travel freely in the direction of flow but blocks backflow of those materials in the opposite direction in instances, such as, flooding. Protect buildings from potential flooding caused by rainwater backflow in the sewerage system. The flaps are designed to open freely, enabling the smooth flow of wastewater in the direction of the rainwater drain’s slope. Acting as a physical barrier between a property and the public sewer, the Backwater Valve can also prevent foul smells and harmful pathogens from travelling up the drainage system to the property.
