Hit and miss fencing panels are so called because the pales or boards are alternately fixed on the front and the back of the panel with an over-lap to create a stylish hit and miss pattern. They are part of our premium range and look equally stylish on both sides so both you and your neighbour have the best looking side of the fence. They are built using planed boards so the finish is smooth and gives a high quality feel. Another advantage of the hit and miss style is that the slatted panel design has an (approx.’) 15% wind load reduction as the gaps between the pales allows air to pass through. Hit and miss panel boards are also available in a horizontal style offering a different look. Please remember to treat any cut ends with Jakcure Cut Treatment. Note: Vertical Hit & Miss fencing panels do not provide total privacy. Panels are 1.83m wide, framing 45mm x 50mm and are recessed to take boards. Vertical boards 9mm x 8mm with horizontal internal battens 50mm x 12mm. The timber used in these panels is planed all around then smoothed off to remove any of the sawn rough edges and have are natural cure treated timber, manufacturer guaranteed for 25 years. All fixings are stainless steel. Available in a choice of height options.
