Application:
- Two glue strings are applied to the rebated edge of the fermacell® Flooring Elements.
- The glue is applied in a single application due to the twin nozzles at the top of the bottle.
Suitable for the following areas:
- For gluing rebated edges (in the home (AA 1) and in offices (AA 2)).
- For complete gluing of a third layer of fermacell® Gypsum Fibreboards on flooring elements.
- In wet rooms with humidity exposure class A0 (pursuant to ZDB and IGG leaflet).
Characteristics:
- Label-free, low in harmful substances and low-emission (tested by ECO Institute Cologne)
- Free of isocyanate, softeners, silicone and solvents (pursuant to TRGS 610)
Installation:
- Shake fermacell® greenline Floor Glue before use.
- The rebated edges of the fermacell® Flooring Elements are glued with fermacell® greenline Floor Glue.
- Two glue strings (diameter approx. 5mm) are applied to the edges for this purpose.
- This takes place in a single step due to the special twin nozzles.
- The next element should be fitted and glued in the perimeter area within 10 minutes, so that the glue fully fills and oozes out of the joint.
- This serves to ensure the complete wetting/penetration of the glue to the butt-joints.
- In order to ensure the necessary contact pressure, one’s own body weight is applied to the upper fermacell® Flooring Element and it is then screwed with fermacell® screws or stapled to the lower element with special diverging staples.
- The maximum adhesive joint width is 2mm.
- After approx. 5-30 minutes, the excess glue should be removed with a fermacell® glue scraper, a spatula or a chisel.
- The surface should then not be walked-on for the next 24 hours.
- Hardened glue (>24 hours dry) can be removed with a fermacell® glue scraper or chisel.
- The laid surface can be walked-on after approx. 24 hours at a normal indoor climate of 20°C and 50% humidity.
- After approx. 72 hours, the full load-bearing capacity is achieved
Screws:
- 200mm centres for the flooring elements (fermacell® screws for fermacell® flooring Elements)
- 150mm centres for Powerpanel H2O Flooring Element (fermacell® Powerpanel H2O floor screws)
Special diverging staples:
- 150mm centres for fermacell® Gypsum Fibre or Powerpanel H2O Flooring Element
Please notes:
- Remove excess glue after 5-30 minutes with a scraper.
- Do not walk on the surface for 24hrs.
- Leave to cure for this time at an ambient indoor climate of 20°C and 50% RH.
- Remove any hardened glue.
- After 73 hours the full load bearing capacity of the flooring element joints are achieved.
